Hey y'all, I'm Kevin Hill. I go by Hill, or KHill though. I run the United Wrestling League that CCW has joined. I am the 'admin' on these CCW forums because I created them, and have helped get CCW rolling. OOC speaking, Ethan IS the fedhead. He writes, judges, runs the fed. I just kinda look over things, and make sure things are going right.
In-Character wise, the Kevin Hill character owns a large portion of the CCW brand. He has invested his and the UWL's money to help CCW get going, and to continue their success. He has helped land a TV deal, the running of iPPV's, etc.
This partnership allows CCW to get even more exposure than the other feds in the UWL...
UWL is an interfed that is doing its best to pay homage to the glory days of the 60s-80s of the NWA. We are for those smaller, regional efeds that prefer to stick to the same city, state, region to tour. Now unlike some interfeds, we don't demand our member feds to close their forums and only use ours. Yes some try that. Those don't last.
We also are not like most interfeds of today, who are just labeling themselves as an interfed, when really they're just affiliates. We at the UWL are here to help the feds that join the League.
How do we help? In many ways.
First, the obvious one. Free advertising. Between twitter, and our forums, we advertise for our member feds a lot. Exposure is always a good thing.
UWL Events: We hold our own Events, which are always big extravagant Events that have members of ALL the UWL member feds, as well as free agents that wish to sign up. All of these events are voluntary, as we post a Sign Up thread for the event. If you sign up, you get booked. You go head to head with the rest of the UWL members. We also allow "showcase matches" which are CCW vs CCW. Have a big rivalry going on and want it showcased on a huge stage? A UWL event is perfect for that. Only people we will book without them signing up are UWL Champions
UWL Titles: We have our own Championships to challenge for. Who doesn't like more gold?
These include our recognized "Official" titles: World, Ladies World, American, Jr Heavyweight, and Tag Team, but also, to keep us unique from all other interfeds, we have Regional Championships. When a certain amount of feds are in a particular region, that regions titles become active. For example, when there are 3 feds in the Great Lakes region (which is where CCW calls home), the Great Lakes Heavyweight Title, Tri-State Title, and Great Lakes Tag Team titles become active. Those titles can be defended at events of those feds in those regions, and can be challenged for by anyone in those feds.
Booking UWL Champs: We have a feature that allows the CCW to book a UWL Champion to defend their title at a CCW event. Doing this would give you more exposure, as we would hype it quite a bit.
PW Syndicated: While it is currently on hiatus due to my busy real life, PW Syndicated is our version of a Television Network. Don't think of it as the WWE Network (besides, the earliest plans of PW Synd was made before the Network), think of it more as the SEC Network if you are familiar with it. In kayfabe, its a real television channel. Not an app. A channel. It has a schedule where along with UWL Events, all the UWL member feds Events are aired. Like, if it were up and running, PW Synd could strike a deal with CCW to air their weekly events every Friday at 8 pm. It also has Original Programs which are interactive... The plans are for PW Synd to return this Spring. **It MAY turn into a podcast**
There's more, like an OOC Community we are trying to build to be the best in the hobby. Nothing is demanded from you guys, but all I ask is you join our forums and introduce yourself. Check out the OOC, which include a few games like the BackAlley Title (an OOC 24/7 Hardcore Title thing).
